Students begin designing works of art that clearly communicate information. They also learn how to support an evaluation of art with a logical argument. The creative skills learned will help develop their confidence in sharing their ideas.

Plunge into the Fabulous Fiber Frenzy through knitting or crocheting, weaving, felting, dyeing and stitchery to explore age-old creativity. Think yarn bombing, UpCycling, and altering!

Tuition includes materials.

Learn how to create expressive portraits with the classical techniques used by the masters! In this class we will begin with the basics on how to capture likeness, rules of proportion, and how to draw three-dimensional shapes realistically. Learn line drawing, explore with paint, and discuss the ways in which various masters have depicted themselves, and their patrons in unique and fun ways! Tuition includes materials and Lab fees.

Working with your child's skill level, hand-building, wheel-throwing, and glazing techniques are explored. Advanced students have the opportunity for independent study with access to an instructor for guidance. Students must be at least 10 years old to take this class. Tuition includes materials and firings.

Take your drawing skills out of this world! Begin with pen and paper to create original artwork using classic art techniques and transfer them to the computer screen where your imagination can run wild! Learn to digitally manipulate your own images into the stuff of dreams! This class will teach Adobe Illustrator, for producing and altering vector images, and some Photoshop to color, correct, and manipulate pixel-based images and photographs. No previous experience required, but some basic computer skills will help. Tuition includes materials and Lab fees.
